Mill Run Express was started by Paul Miller in April of 1974. He bought a truck and dump trailer, and started trucking as an owner operator. The business expanded over the years and by 1986 he owned 3 trucks. Paul had worked as a heavy truck mechanic prior to becoming an owner operator, and so he did most of his own mechanical repairs. Along with mechanical repairs, he painted several of his trucks over the years. He taught his sons the art of mechanic work on the trucks. The business continued to grow and at one point he owned 6 trucks. In the early 2000's, Paul was interested in buying and selling cars. He decided to focus more on buying and selling vehicles so, in 2004, he sold his last truck and worked solely on getting a car lot going and doing repairs along with his son Jon. They did repairs on heavy duty trucks as well as other vehicles alongside the car lot.

In the fall of 2017, his son Brian joined the team at Mill Run alongside Jon. The end of 2019 Brian and Jon took over the business and their father retired. Brian and Jon worked together the next couple years in continuing the business their father started. During the year of 2022 Jon felt it was time for him to leave the business. At the time they talked to Josh Burtop and in January of 2023, Jon sold his interest in Mill Run to Josh.

Throughout the years, Paul ran his business with honesty and integrity. His goal was to keep God first and family second in his business all while meeting the needs of the customers in a friendly and polite way. Brian and Josh continue to operate Mill Run with a focus on God, family, and community as they serve the Spring Grove and surrounding communities with quality repairs at a fair price. Whether it is a problem with your personal car or class 8 truck, you can expect to be treated with respect from your first phone call, to picking up your vehicle after the repair has been completed. Our goal is to do a thorough and honest job for all who need help with their heavy truck and automotive repairs.
